Our 750- and 1000- hour training’s are for instructors who have already earned 500 hours through a Yoga Alliance-approved training program and would like to add continuing education hours to their existing certifications. A total of 750 hours can be earned by doing Part 1 of the continuing education program (250 hours), and a total of 1000 hours can be earned by doing Part 2, a second 250-hour program offered a year after the first.
Both levels of advanced training at Hilltop are Yoga Alliance-approved continuing education curriculums, the 750-hour and 1000-hour trainings dive deeper than most trainings. These trainings set teachers apart by focusing more intensely on the ancient philosophies of the practice and their relation to the modern world.
Part 1 focuses on the Upanishads, the essence of the Upanishads, gaining a depth of understanding surrounding the koshas, exploring the third book of Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras as well as advanced sequencing and primary series.
Part 2 focuses on the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada, exploring the fourth book of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, delving into the kleshas as well as advanced sequencing and second series
