Yoga is so deeply personal. The reasons we climb onto our mats and discover our yoga are different for everyone. Yoga touches lives in so many different ways.
These are some truths I have discovered through this yoga practice so far:
? Yoga is my moksha, my liberation. It helps me to find freedom from the chaos of the world and to get out of the chitti vritti, mind cluttter, in my head. Life can absolutely be crazy, but yoga is the calm in the eye of the storm.
? On my mat, I have found lightness and the ability to let go. And letting go to me can mean so many different things on any given day.
? Yoga is hard work, from the inside out. This practice is physically challenging. It’s fun to try to bend myself in crazy, pretzel-like positions! But, more importantly, it requires me to have strength and willingness to come to my mat to explore what’s on the inside.
? Hilltop is absolutely the the safest place I know to dig in and to work through pain, joy, anger, suffering, and love. This sangha is so open and honest. I think it’s so beautiful that we can share the most intimate pieces of ourselves with others.
? Yoga has transformed my life. I am capable of being my true Self, because yoga has showed me how.
? Being present is challenging!
? Yoga transcends the parameters of my mat. The practice of yoga is a practice of complete immersion. It is a part of every facet of my life.
? My practice of self-discovery will never be complete.
Everyone’s path is unique and individual. I would love to be a part of your journey.
Light and love,
Tori
