I have been teaching since Fall 2007 and truly love and cherish every moment of it. It feels amazing to be able to share what I love each week with my students. I have had the honor to train consistently with Hilaire Lockwood in the depth of Yogas most purest form and tradition, and I have completed 500 hours of advanced teacher training with Hilaire.

Yoga begins by gently inviting each student to look within, to open the body and to synchronize movement with the breath. I teach a fluid vinyasa class that is deeply meditative and intuitive to the energy of the room, which makes class, insightful, reflective and uplifting. My class begins by gently inviting my students to look within, to open the body and to synchronize moment with the breath. Meditation is used as a way to journey through and touch into deeper and more subtle levels of your being. Our attention is turned further inward, quieting the mind and opening us to our inherent wisdom. We use the physical body to find new spaces focusing on proper alignment with asana to open and detox while drawing attention to movement and energy through the breath. The breath is used as a vehicle to deepen and soften, fusing all this with conscious intention that sets our spirit free. This powerful practice of yoga, allows us to move through layers of resistance so we can experience the great openness and freedom in the body, mind and spirit.

Some of the purest most peaceful moments of my life have happened on my mat. Yoga is the practice that leads me to awareness of my true nature by opening and unifying my body, heart, mind and spirit. I cherish the few small quiet moments that are truly genuine and real. That’s all it takes to find a bit of freedom that can carry over to the rest of my life and hopefully into the lives of my students.

I teach Wednesdays at 6PM in Haslett…come open your heart and free your mind. I look forward to welcoming you.
