Meet Our Instructors - LeeAnn |

Yoga is a journey; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. How we decide to travel along that journey is unique for each of us. My journey has helped me discover a strength and deeper appreciation for myself and those around me. When I step on my mat, my yoga practice allows me a safe place to shed the things I don’t need and teaches me to breathe through whatever life offers.
Like so many, I was initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits. After a few months of practicing just once a week, I was amazed at the balance yoga brought to my naturally type “A” personality. It wasn’t until an instructor recommended a prenatal class that I learned about Hilltop Yoga. I attended my first class with Hilaire in December 2007 and instantly felt at ease. What began as a once weekly practice had become a focus in my life multiple times a week. In March of 2010, I completed my 200 hour teacher training and am currently working towards my 300 hours.
In my classes, I try to incorporate my background in exercise science with my deep love for life. I am thankful to have been brought to Hilltop, and to be surrounded by our beautiful sangha (community).
