I started yoga at about the same time that I started graduate school, and I loved the balance that it brought to my life. The biggest thing that has come to me through my yoga and meditation practice is a deep sense of gratitude – for all that I am, for all that I can do, and for everyone in my life, past and present. I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to practice and teach here at Hilltop, where I completed my 200-hour teacher training and am currently working on my 300-hour certification.
By approaching our practice from a place of gratitude, with amazement at all that we are capable of as individuals, this practice becomes amazingly uplifting, challenging, and fun. As a teacher, I believe that all students can and should learn to listen to their own internal signals about what they need from their individualpractice and from their lives, and I strive to foster that inner dialogue in my classes.
