You can step onto your mat for many different reasons, but taking that first step may start you on a journey that changes your life. Yoga found me when I most needed it, at a time in my life when so many things seemed to be falling apart. I started practicing in my mid-50s. Yoga takes patience and discipline, but I have found that my own practice continues to evolve, on so many different levels. Age is no barrier. I have 500 hours of training through Hilaire Lockwood’s yoga teacher training program and I am also a Curvy Yoga-certified teacher. I travel quite frequently, and practice yoga in many cities throughout the country. There is no studio quite like Hilltop. I love to share with students my deep respect for yoga as practice that can occur on many different levels. My goals as a teacher are to keep you safe and to make sure you know how to practice in a way that honors your body and spirit, while, at the same time, challenging you to find your edge and expand your practice.
