I began practicing yoga nine years ago as a result of a running injury. While the practice led me to physical recovery, it also helped with anxiety, and I began to find more clarity in my life, both on and off the mat. I enjoy teaching mindful movement and conscious breathing to students of all ages and abilities. My alignment-based classes will challenge you, while encouraging you to listen to your body and move at your own pace. I believe strongly in the power of yoga not only for physical benefit, but also for mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
I am currently training with Inner Peace Yoga Therapy to become an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, and am particularly interested in injury recovery, chronic pain management, and stress disorders. Training and Certification: E-RYT200, RYT500, working towards C-IAYT.
